AnaCONT ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) transmitters are tailored for the continuous measurement of redox potential in liquids. Similar to pH measurement, the potential difference between the measuring and reference probes determines the redox potential.
Oxidation or reduction reactions occur on the platinum surface of the measuring probe. The redox potential serves as a parameter indicating the sum of oxidants and reducers in the measured medium. The output signals of the probes are processed by the electronic unit, which converts them into a proportional output signal.
To achieve desired medium parameters, such as oxidation or reduction, based on the processed values, appropriate actions can be executed.
