The measurement of DO, or Dissolved Oxygen, is the amount of free oxygen dissolved in the liquid, or it can be given in both values in ppm and mg/l. The sensor is submerged in the fluid with an oxygen-permeable membrane over it; it provides an electronic signal proportional to the oxygen concentration. The electronics calculates based on the output current from the DO sensor and transmits the DO value normalized at +25 °C.
